England wasted the chance to secure their place in the Euro 2024 knockout stages as Group C winners as they were fortunate to take a draw against Denmark.
Gareth Southgate's side went into the match knowing that a win would guarantee them top spot in the group, but they were unable to break down a resilient Danish defense.
England did have the better chances in the game, but they were unable to make them count. Harry Kane had a penalty saved in the first half and Raheem Sterling hit the post in the second.
Denmark grew in confidence as the game went on and they had a couple of chances to snatch a winner themselves.
In the end, a draw was a fair result and it leaves England needing to beat the Czech Republic in their final group game to secure a place in the knockout stages.
